Opening of the VI International Chamber Music Festival

On November 14 at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory hosted the opening of the VI International Chamber Music Festival.

From November 14 to 17, famous musicians from Greece, Russia and Kazakhstan will perform in the concert halls of the music university, who will also generously share their experience and treasures of world culture at master classes. The program of the four-day festival will feature gems of chamber music of various styles and genres from the Baroque era to modern times.

On November 14, a master class by Giannis Mavridis, teacher of the Patras Conservatory (Greece), concertmaster of the Patras Soloists Chamber Orchestra, on the theme "Joint performance in a quartet class" took place in the Zhubanova Chamber Hall. The concert "D'EL'SA CONSORT" by the Baroque Music Ensemble and the Student Chamber Orchestra (conducted by Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor Anuar Akbarov) was also held at the Ye.Rakhmadiyev Grand Concert Hall under the direction of Dina Kurmanalinova.
